The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. JOI TONG LEE 李再唐

is a 44th-generation descendant of the Tang imperial lineage, inheriting the royal metaphysical tradition from masters including Yang Yunsong (楊筠松). Trained from childhood by his father in classical theory and embodied geomancy, he continues his family’s astrological teachings through a contemporary lens. With over sixty years’ experience in media production, he also supports Buddhist and Taoist initiatives with the World Buddhist Forum, Wudang Mountains, and the Buddhist Light International Association.

He teaches specialist astrological subjects and astronomy at the School of Traditional Astrology, and publishes his work on world affairs through Skyscript's In Mundo publishing desk. He is the host of the World Astrology Summit, a conference dedicated to the advancement of astrology for global problem-solving

STEFANIE GUTWENGER

DFAstrolS

lives in Vienna (Austria) and has been fascinated by astrology since her teenage years. In her twenties, she decided to study with the Faculty in parallel to her career in banking. After a Jupiter cycle she gained her diploma in 2019 and shortly thereafter started to work as a professional astrologer and distance learning tutor for the Faculty. Stefanie is also interested in horary astrology. In 2025 she gained the School of Traditional Astrology’s Practitioners Level Horary Course Certificate.

Stevi Gaydon

DFAstrolS

is a Faculty tutor who teaches both online classes and by distance learning. She has run her astrological practice since gaining her Diploma in 2010. Her work with clients is informed by her background in training business people in negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as by her experience as a coach. Stevi has an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
