The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.
The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. Wade Caves
Guest Tutorbased in Brooklyn, NY, is an astrological consultant and educator specialising in problem-solving applications of astrology. He teaches specialist astrological subjects and astronomy at the School of Traditional Astrology, and publishes his work on world affairs through Skyscript's In Mundo publishing desk. He is the host of the World Astrology Summit, a conference dedicated to the advancement of astrology for global problem-solving
Mark Fountain
DFAstrolShas been a Faculty tutor since 2006 and is currently the Head of Exams. His interests include mythology, history, politics, art and literature. He enjoys exploring the potential of the larger asteroids to enrich his astrological practice and using mundane astrology to understand social and cultural change. He's also engaged in research into harmonics. He has a background in English language teaching, making him particularly interested in how astrologers can communicate effectively with their clients.
Marielle CHURAQUI
DFAstrolSis a London-based astrologer who gained the Faculty Diploma in 2008 and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2012. She is a tutor and the Treasurer of the Faculty. Her approach to astrology is inspired by Jungian ideas, particularly James Hillman’s concept of soul. She also teaches yoga, using yoga techniques to explore astrological themes.
JOI TONG LEE 李再唐
is a 44th-generation descendant of the Tang imperial lineage, inheriting the royal metaphysical tradition from masters including Yang Yunsong (楊筠松). Trained from childhood by his father in classical theory and embodied geomancy, he continues his family’s astrological teachings through a contemporary lens. With over sixty years’ experience in media production, he also supports Buddhist and Taoist initiatives with the World Buddhist Forum, Wudang Mountains, and the Buddhist Light International Association.
