The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. DFAstrolS

is a licensed psychologist with a second degree in performing arts and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the Sophia Centre at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where he received the 2023-24 Alumni Association Dissertation Prize. He is training to become a certified Jungian Analyst with the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Alejo works as a consultant astrologer and psychologist, aiming to foster self-awareness. He believes astrology’s symbolic language enables deep dialogue with hidden aspects of the self, guiding individuals toward authentic self-discovery.

has taught London Classes, modules at Summer School and is a distance learning and online tutor. She runs her own astrological practice based in Nottingham and specialises in using astrology for personal and business development work, using experiential techniques together with astrology to assist clients in moving forward towards their spiritual and temporal goals. Holding a B.A. (Hons) and certification from the School of Traditional Astrology as a Horary Practitioner she is keenly interested in the Western Mystery Tradition, literature and mythologies and their links with astrology.

Dr Laurence Hillman

Raised in Zürich, Switzerland, Laurence is a full-time astrologer, consultant, teacher, writer and lecturer. He has been practicing astrology for 48 years. Laurence has conducted workshops at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London and in Findhorn, taught at multiple universities and co-taught with his father James Hillman. He is the author of several books and articles. Laurence holds degrees in architecture, business, engineering and a PhD in Psychology. He lives with his wife Cindy in St. Louis in the US.

FFAstrolS

is the former President and Head Tutor of the Faculty and has taught with the school since 2006. She gained her Diploma in 1996 and the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2007. Her interests in healing, Jungian and transpersonal psychology, goddess spirituality and the Western Mysteries inform her approach to astrology, which includes the ways in which we work psychologically, experientially and ritually with symbols and with myth.
