The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. Marielle CHURAQUI

DFAstrolS

is a London-based astrologer who gained the Faculty Diploma in 2008 and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2012. She is a tutor and the Treasurer of the Faculty. Her approach to astrology is inspired by Jungian ideas, particularly James Hillman’s concept of soul. She also teaches yoga, using yoga techniques to explore astrological themes.

based in Brooklyn, NY, is an astrological consultant and educator specialising in problem-solving applications of astrology. He teaches specialist astrological subjects and astronomy at the School of Traditional Astrology, and publishes his work on world affairs through Skyscript's In Mundo publishing desk. He is the host of the World Astrology Summit, a conference dedicated to the advancement of astrology for global problem-solving

ALEJO LÓPEZ

DFAstrolS

is a licensed psychologist with a second degree in performing arts and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the Sophia Centre at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where he received the 2023-24 Alumni Association Dissertation Prize. He is training to become a certified Jungian Analyst with the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Alejo works as a consultant astrologer and psychologist, aiming to foster self-awareness. He believes astrology’s symbolic language enables deep dialogue with hidden aspects of the self, guiding individuals toward authentic self-discovery.

BERNA LEE 李映晴

is a doctoral researcher and astrologer, and a 45th-generation descendant of the Tang royal lineage. After completing her MA at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, she created its first academic short course in Chinese cultural astronomy and astrology. Trained in her family’s metaphysical lineage, she has assisted her father’s work, taught meditation for years, and worked with Chinese arts and antiques, integrating tradition with contemporary perspectives to support self-growth.
