The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. DEBORAH MORGAN

DFAstrolS

has taught London Classes, modules at Summer School and is a distance learning and online tutor. She runs her own astrological practice based in Nottingham and specialises in using astrology for personal and business development work, using experiential techniques together with astrology to assist clients in moving forward towards their spiritual and temporal goals. Holding a B.A. (Hons) and certification from the School of Traditional Astrology as a Horary Practitioner she is keenly interested in the Western Mystery Tradition, literature and mythologies and their links with astrology.

Lindsay Gladstone

DFAstrolS

is a consultant astrologer. She is a former Faculty Head of Exams, tutor and Summer School Registrar. Enchanted by the mysteries of the divine, she observes the contemplative route of the heart/mind philosophies of medieval Middle Eastern mystics. Archaeology and the study of shamanic practices are her abiding passions. She holds an MA in Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred from Canterbury Christ Church University.

Toby Aldren

DFAstrolS

is a Faculty tutor for both online classes and distance learning via email. He gained his Diploma in 2013, joined the tutor team in 2017, and became Head Tutor in November 2024. Toby has been an educator throughout his career and he also works as a musician. He lives with his husband and a very pampered border collie.

Rod Chang

Guest Tutor

has studied astrology for over thirty years and he has spoken at several international conferences in Poland, UK, Portugal, China, Japan and Australia. Rod has been invited several times to teach at the Faculty of Astrological Studies Summer School in Oxford. His main areas of interest are fixed stars, comets, mundane astrology, financial astrology, astronomy and astromapping, and he takes a humanistic approach to astrology. Rod is also an experienced astrophotographer
