The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. Lisa Stockley

DFAstrolS

has been working with astrology for over 20 years, a journey which led to her gaining the Faculty Diploma in 2018. She serves on the Faculty Council and as Director of Studies, as well as tutoring London classes, online classes and by distance learning. She is especially interested in astrology as a spiritual practice and cultivates a deep connection with nature and the cycle of the seasons.

Clare Martin

DFAstrolS

is a psychotherapist and has been a practicing astrologer, lecturer and teacher since 1990. She was a tutor and supervisor at the Centre for Psychological Astrology, and President of the Faculty of Astrological Studies for nine years. She has written a three-volume introduction to psychological astrology: Mapping the Psyche and Alchemy: The Soul of Astrology. Her latest book, Star-Crossed, explores the astrology of personality theory and the meeting of opposites.

Mark Fountain

DFAstrolS

has been a Faculty tutor since 2006 and is currently the Head of Exams. His interests include mythology, history, politics, art and literature. He enjoys exploring the potential of the larger asteroids to enrich his astrological practice and using mundane astrology to understand social and cultural change. He's also engaged in research into harmonics. He has a background in English language teaching, making him particularly interested in how astrologers can communicate effectively with their clients.

MÓNICA TEIXEIRA

DFAstrolS

has been a Faculty tutor since 2017 and the Head of Exams between 2022 and 2024. She holds an Informatics degree from the University of Lisbon and an International Certification in Coaching. She worked as a software engineer in the eHealth industry for twenty years. Since 2017, she has been fully dedicated to astrology and her greatest satisfaction is in helping people through astrological consultations.
