When you speak to the stars, they speak back.
Astrology begins with observation. Before calculation, before interpretation, there is the sky itself. This practical workshop is designed to reconnect astrologers with the direct experience of the heavens and to deepen understanding through embodied knowledge.
You will learn the fundamentals of stargazing:
• how to locate visible planets
• how to identify key stars and constellations
• how to understand their cycles, positions and directions
• how astronomical movement informs astrological language
By grounding astrology in observation, terminology becomes clearer, symbolism becomes richer, and interpretation gains depth.
The second part of the workshop introduces accessible astrophotography techniques. You will learn how to photograph the Moon and even the Milky Way using simple equipment. A mobile phone and mini tripod are sufficient, although DSLR cameras and tripods are welcome. If weather conditions allow, we may have the opportunity to practise outdoors in the evening.
This is an ideal workshop for astrologers who want to move beyond charts on a screen and return to the living sky. Practical, engaging and immediately applicable, places are likely to fill quickly.
