The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. R. HAKAN KIRKOĞLU

DFAstrolS, ISAR CAP

was born in Istanbul, and has studied astrology for more than forty years. A professional astrologer, writer, and international lecturer, he is also a prize-winning Faculty Diploma holder (1997). His practice brings Hellenistic principles into fruitful dialogue with modern techniques. Following a BS in Management Engineering, he holds MA degrees in History and Economics; his history thesis explored astrology at the eighteenth-century Ottoman court. Hakan has also pioneered astrology education in Turkey by founding the Wisdom of the Sky School.

Lindsay Gladstone

DFAstrolS

is a consultant astrologer. She is a former Faculty Head of Exams, tutor and Summer School Registrar. Enchanted by the mysteries of the divine, she observes the contemplative route of the heart/mind philosophies of medieval Middle Eastern mystics. Archaeology and the study of shamanic practices are her abiding passions. She holds an MA in Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred from Canterbury Christ Church University.

Lisa Stockley

DFAstrolS

has been working with astrology for over 20 years, a journey which led to her gaining the Faculty Diploma in 2018. She serves on the Faculty Council and as Director of Studies, as well as tutoring London classes, online classes and by distance learning. She is especially interested in astrology as a spiritual practice and cultivates a deep connection with nature and the cycle of the seasons.

STEFANO STRACUZZI

DFAstrolS

obtained the Faculty Diploma in 2022 and has been a distance learning tutor since 2023. He is particularly interested in mundane research, which includes studies on financial, political and social trends, as well as seismic events. He is the author of two books: The Cosmic Journey: Astrology Beyond the Self and Mundane Astrology: Outer Cycles Beyond Pluto. He is currently working on his MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
