The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. based in Brooklyn, NY, is an astrological consultant and educator specialising in problem-solving applications of astrology. He teaches specialist astrological subjects and astronomy at the School of Traditional Astrology, and publishes his work on world affairs through Skyscript's In Mundo publishing desk. He is the host of the World Astrology Summit, a conference dedicated to the advancement of astrology for global problem-solving

ALEJO LÓPEZ

DFAstrolS

is a licensed psychologist with a second degree in performing arts and an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the Sophia Centre at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where he received the 2023-24 Alumni Association Dissertation Prize. He is training to become a certified Jungian Analyst with the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Alejo works as a consultant astrologer and psychologist, aiming to foster self-awareness. He believes astrology’s symbolic language enables deep dialogue with hidden aspects of the self, guiding individuals toward authentic self-discovery.

ERIC FISCHMANN

DFAstrolS

is a teacher and a consultant astrologer who holds an MA in English and American Studies. He encountered astrology at 21 and has been a student of this art ever since. He studied with different astrologers and schools, and in 2004 he undertook a two-year training programme in Psychosynthesis before joining the Faculty of Astrological Studies as a student in 2006. He now teaches for the Faculty and enjoys sharing what he’s learnt with other students, especially interpretation skills, Eric’s particular field of interest.

Rod Chang

Guest Tutor

has studied astrology for over thirty years and he has spoken at several international conferences in Poland, UK, Portugal, China, Japan and Australia. Rod has been invited several times to teach at the Faculty of Astrological Studies Summer School in Oxford. His main areas of interest are fixed stars, comets, mundane astrology, financial astrology, astronomy and astromapping, and he takes a humanistic approach to astrology. Rod is also an experienced astrophotographer
