The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. ITZIAR AZKONA

DFAstrolS

is a Faculty tutor. She studied Sociology and Politics and has an MSc from the University of Surrey in Social Research Methods. Since 2000, when she discovered astrology, she has followed a path of studying and practising astrology in depth, especially since enrolling with the Faculty. In her commitment to astrology, Itziar volunteers as one of the editors of Revista Stellium, the main astrological magazine in Spanish; professionally, she is an astrological tutor and facilitates personal initiations through astrology

R. HAKAN KIRKOĞLU

DFAstrolS, ISAR CAP

was born in Istanbul, and has studied astrology for more than forty years. A professional astrologer, writer, and international lecturer, he is also a prize-winning Faculty Diploma holder (1997). His practice brings Hellenistic principles into fruitful dialogue with modern techniques. Following a BS in Management Engineering, he holds MA degrees in History and Economics; his history thesis explored astrology at the eighteenth-century Ottoman court. Hakan has also pioneered astrology education in Turkey by founding the Wisdom of the Sky School.

GLÓRIA ROCA

DFAstrolS

is a consultant astrologer and teacher. She studied astrology with the Faculty, esoteric astrology with Alan Oken, hermetic symbology in Barcelona, and horary astrology with the School of Traditional Astrology (STA). She obtained the Faculty Diploma in 2002, has been a Faculty tutor and Council member for 20 years, and she founded her own school in Barcelona in 2011: Aula Astrològica de Catalunya. Her particular fields of interest are psychological, archetypal and soul-centred astrology, and the astromapping techniques.

JOI TONG LEE 李再唐

is a 44th-generation descendant of the Tang imperial lineage, inheriting the royal metaphysical tradition from masters including Yang Yunsong (楊筠松). Trained from childhood by his father in classical theory and embodied geomancy, he continues his family’s astrological teachings through a contemporary lens. With over sixty years’ experience in media production, he also supports Buddhist and Taoist initiatives with the World Buddhist Forum, Wudang Mountains, and the Buddhist Light International Association.
