Summer School

The Faculty annual Summer School is one of the world’s best-known astrological events, attracting students from many countries to the beautiful city of Oxford to enjoy the weekend and five-day courses.

The programme caters for a range of levels, from relative beginners through to students and practitioners at advanced or professional level. With our world-class team of experienced guest tutors providing an exciting and dynamic programme of study, Summer School offers you a chance to work in depth with astrology, developing knowledge of new subjects and techniques, and deepening your understanding of existing ones. The Faculty will do its very best to make you feel welcome and at home. Stevi Gaydon

DFAstrolS

is a Faculty tutor who teaches both online classes and by distance learning. She has run her astrological practice since gaining her Diploma in 2010. Her work with clients is informed by her background in training business people in negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as by her experience as a coach. Stevi has an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

is a Faculty tutor for both online classes and distance learning via email. He gained his Diploma in 2013, joined the tutor team in 2017, and become Head Tutor in November 2024. Toby has been an educator throughout his career and he also works as a musician. He lives with his husband and a very pampered border collie in the remote community of Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia, on Canada's west coast.

obtained the Faculty Diploma in 2022 and has been a distance learning tutor since 2023. He is particularly interested in mundane research, which includes studies on financial, political and social trends, as well as seismic events. He is the author of two books: The Cosmic Journey: Astrology Beyond the Self and Mundane Astrology: Outer Cycles Beyond Pluto. He is currently working on his MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Dr Chris Mitchell

has a PhD on the topic of medieval astrology and is a tutor on the MA course in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. He is on the boards of the Astrological Association and the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI), and has given talks to groups and conferences in Europe and the US. He is the author of England's First Astrology Book, and was the joint recipient of the Charles Harvey Award for Exceptional Service to Astrology in 2021.
